New update to SustainSymphony platform.
The d&b SustainSymphony platform for eco-friendly event planning now includes UN Sustainable Development Goals through a free software update.
d&b group first launched SustainSymphony in May 2024 as part of efforts to help make live events more environmentally friendly and socially responsible. The innovative cloud-based management software allows venues, organisers and their suppliers to plan and track their sustainability targets.
The latest update provides support for the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations to encourage responsible consumption, lower CO2 emissions and greater inclusivity. Incorporating these SDGs alongside the ISO 20121 standards for sustainable event management, the software also offers more precise emissions monitoring and expanded reporting functionality, so the events industry can better contribute to a more sustainable future.
The UN SDGs provide a broader measure of sustainability. Besides environmental impact, they encompass important social and governance issues. SustainSymphony users can now apply each of the 17 global goals to their event planning and reporting.
